The teachers at Moonlight school offered to give me mendi. This is a henna tattoo that is temporary. They drew on this elaborate design and I had to wait 30 minutes for the dye to dry. Now I have this beautiful design on my hand for the next 10 days. It will slowly fade away.

I have forgotten that this design is on my hand as I have gotten use to it but it always capture the attention of local Nepalese people. They always comment on it and ask to see my hand. It is a great conversation starter!
