After spending 2 weeks volunteering at Moonlight school I said goodbye to the students and headed off on a new adventure. My goal was to spend some time in the jungle looking for the 1 Horned Asian Rhino and if I was lucky a Bengal Tiger.

It is a 17 hour bus ride from Kathmandu to Bardia National Park - located on the west side of Nepal along the boarder with India. After speaking with some other travellers I decided to fly. It cost me $150USD for a one-way ticket. However, the quick 45 minute flight made it worth the money. I was picked up at the NepalGunj Airport and then spend 2 hours in the car driving from the city to the national park.
